The names of the actors are being kept confidential for their own safety. They are known only by their hacker aliases. Please welcome to the stage Void Vigilante, Mad Matrixx, and Cyber Shadow.

Spy Girls is a combination of investigative journalism, cyber activism and performing arts. Our actors worked undercover for three months as beautiful young women. They opened fake accounts on a Russian social media site called VKontakte, joined their dating feature Znakomstva and matched with men who wore uniforms and whose location was marked as the Ukrainian-Russian border. They catfished the soldiers to find out the Russian army’s positions and weaponry.Spy Girls plays with the lines of ethics. How far can we carry our online investigation?
